Some very rough messy props.

My work just keeps getting a bit messier as the deadline gets nearer. This is the very initial stage of prop stuff. Thought I would roughly do some sketches of a few things then add some slabs of paint just to show colours. I will obvz spend more time on the final thing!

After Effects Title Sequence and stuff...

  

It's that time of year again....for me to be ill! I always get ill at Christmas time or anytime in general and this year Tonsillitis decided to leave me bed ridden for a week :O Thought you all should know.... Haha. Slowly getting better now after seeing the docs but this is why I haven't posted any stuff. (I have an excuse :P)  I wanted to hopefully get some business stuff done by now to put up but nothing yet. So...it's gonna be an After Effects related post. This is the low quality version of it. We don't get marked on the drawings but on the effects used and was told to stop spending time on the final look, but I think that's what lets it down now. I wanna do it again with everything drawn and coloured. Theres also some lil bits that I didn't have time to do before the deadline. I somehow went down this dark look, I think mainly to save time on the images used but it makes my tv series look quite scary. I even used the Beetlejuice theme for the music. My tv series/short was supposed to be a comedy...

Creepy Man and His Pipes

What am I drawing?? This is something I'm doing for my title sequence. I was trying out a different style which I like but I realised it doesn't really link to the characters of my pre production work. Looks like a title sequence for some sort of horror. Ahh well, gonna carry on with it. No time! Deadlines in 3 days :O Anyways gonna see if I can make those pipes move as the camera pans upwards onto the guy. Prob not gonna happen...

I can't decide if I wanna do my final backgrounds in traditional paint or digital. I'm torn! This is a test for the stylistic considerations for my project.

I'm sick of drawing houses now! The bottom right one is the one I'm looking at doing for me overall neighbourhood. I really need to go back and do some character stuff as I still don't know what my characters are gonna look like. Uh Ohz. Looooads to do! Also I really need to make a banner for me blog at some point...

Colour Test

I spoke to me tutor the other day and he said I should start getting some colour on my work such as colour keys, styles. I need to do more drawing! But I thought I would try and quickly colour some of the houses I've already drawn. I think I spent too much time at the beginning then realised, it's just a blimmin test! I quickly finished it as I was getting annoyed and weirdly my photoshop was playing music??? Gangster rap music??? I closed all my webpages, my itunes wasn't even up and after I closed photoshop the music stopped. Odd. Anyways heres me colour test. Don't really like it so im gonna experiment with another style when I get more drawing done.
