Natalie Portman

I've spent most of the day doing drawings Natalie Portman's character in the Black Swan. I've been testing out colours and trying out textures in Photoshop. I quite like this one I've done above, I might test these colours on other backgrounds and design work.

Eye Blinding

I've been on photoshop for too long tonight, there is only so much I can take. I really got to do my title sequence mlark but I wanted to go back to my Toy Story characters. While I was sat in bed recovering from food poisoning I did a few doodles for it and found some I liked. Gone on to do some colour development now, it's hard to make it different without making it look completely not like the original character.
I quite like my doodle of a buzz I did while I was in bed... I quickly photoshopped it to look at colours.

He looks so ugly!

Photoshopping Saturday

It's been a long hungry day today...can't eat food for a while because of some damn retched chicken. Anyways, I have actually been able to function and do some work today. I'm helping Luke do some baackgrounds for his movie, I would link you to his page but I just realised I haven't even got him as a friend or even anyone else at that matter.
I've been photoshopping a bank scene, which is supposed to have a water colour feel to it. I've done a teeeny bit, loads more to go...

Photoshop Doodles

E4 Sting

A slightly longer project was to create a character in Illustrator for the E4 audience and then to take it into flash to make a sting to use in between programmes.

Second Year!

I'm a blimmin' second year now. It's going too quick, nearly halfway through.
For the beginning of the year we started to do many mini projects that lasted about 2 weeks each.

Background Design

I chose to do a seaside town for my background, as I liked the small assorted coloured houses. It was actually inspiration from my flatmate Jade after visiting her house in Portishead, Bristol.
I drew the image first and scanned it in and photoshopped the rest. It was difficult trying to work out lighting, shadows and the perspective but it's not too bad for a first go!

Flour Sacks Animation

This project was to animate two flour sacks interacting with two different personalities. They somehow had to get across the crevice. I think I could have put more interaction in me animation and make emphasise the bigger sack's personality more.

Advert Animatic

A previous project was to storyboard an advert, I chose the Lynx chocolate man ad. With these previous storyboards we had to make an animatic in Storyboard Pro.
